Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with board directors and committees to assess and address issues affecting the organization. 
• Oversee daily operations of the organization, providing executive direction for program strategies and efficiencies, compliance, and quality assurance. 
• Identify and address staffing requirements for efficient operations and maintain a strong work culture that attracts and retains people while driving the organization’s mission. 
• Increase awareness of the organization by being the main spokesperson and liaison with local media. 
• Develop an actionable plan for fundraising and managing monthly cash flow.

Required Experience and/or qualifications: 

• Five or more years of experience in senior management, preferably with nonprofit organizations 
• Strong experience in community relations, street outreach, youth development and fundraising

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with CEO and Program Manager to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives. 
• Manage Program Manager to coordinate and manage program initiatives. 
• Identify key requirements for program success and community stakeholders. 
• Develop and manage budget for program and be accountable for managing grant compliance and reporting. 
• Work with other community stakeholders and local law enforcement to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the community. 
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for program outcomes and funders. 

Required Experience and/or qualifications: 

• Five or more years of experience in an upper-management role, preferably in program management 
• Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization 
• Experience in managing stakeholders. 
• Working knowledge of digital marketing 
• Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes

• Develop and implement a system to evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of all staff. 
• Implement a professional development program to address employee experience and skill gaps. 
• Work with staff to develop objective performance measurements across all sites, to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal setting for all employees. 
• Instill a sense of accountability among team members by modeling tight oversight of individual and organization performance standards. 
• Recruit, hire, and oversee training and orientation of all staff members.

• Three or more years of experience in an upper-management role, preferably in program management 
• Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization 
• Experience in working in target community area. 
• Working knowledge of youth development and violence prevention programs. 
• Willingness to learn and implement successful programs.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Conduct in-depth risk assessment for participants, track progress, and execute case closures. 
• Make referrals to partner organizations or agencies that provide services such as mental health counseling, job training, medical care, housing assistance, legal aid, etc.
• Track and record case information, complete forms, and produce reports. 
• Facilitate care and treatment via scheduling, resource sharing, and case coordination. 
• Assess and act accordingly in response to treatment barriers.  
• Connect youth and their families to other sports programs for youth unable to participate in YVITS sports programs.
• Building and maintaining relationships on a monthly basis with local service providers, government agencies, and other nonprofits to expand the network of available resources.
• Collaborate on projects or initiatives that serve shared populations.

Required Experience and/or qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience building relationships with service providers or collaborating with community-based organizations.
• Three or more years of experience in case management or community outreach 
• Experience with high-risk individuals and youth development. 
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills 
• Superb critical-thinking, organizational, and analytical skills 
• Ability to work with all age groups and populations.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Maintaining a caseload maximum of 20 high-risk individuals in identified region. 
• Mediating conflicts between high-risk individuals and collaborating with community partners. 
• Scheduling regular outreach activities in the community and educating residents on community responsibility and resources. 
• Responding to critical incidents, such as shootings and homicides, to de-escalate tension and reduce/address threats of violence using the Crime Prevention and Information (CPIC) system. 
• Mediate and resolve conflicts between street groups or individuals harmed by violence. 
• Engagement and support of individuals and groups at highest risk of harming someone or being harmed by violence through 1-1 and group mentoring. 

Required Experience and/or qualifications: 

• Must be an indigenous member of relevant Chicago community and have street credibility with high-risk individuals. 
• Preferred experience of 3-5 years within outreach activities. 
• Outstanding community connections and resources. 
• Openness to learn new schools and restore community hope. 
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude. 
• Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms. 
• Detail-orientated with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Training and development specialists will design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs for organizations.  
• Identify the organization’s training and development needs through assessments and create initiatives to maximize program efficiency and successful programs.  
• Directly present training content or supervise trainers and other staff.  
• Identify goals and desired outcomes and establish assessment standards and benchmarks to evaluate the program’s success.  
• Manage the production of guides, videos, and other supporting content. 
•  Work in close collaboration with internal and external community stakeholders and teams throughout the program development process. 

Required Experience and/or qualifications: 

• Strong organizational and program management skills required.  
•  Significant knowledge of the field of youth development and violence prevention.  
• Notable experience as a trainer, coach, or training facilitator.  
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required.  
• Must be able to work with a diverse high-risk population. 
•  Must be responsible, reliable, professional, punctual, and flexible.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Complying with all organizations, funder, local, state, and federal accounting, and financial regulations. 
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data. 
• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, statements, etc. 
• Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities. 
• Maintaining accurate financial records. 
• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies. 
• Computing taxes. 
• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting. 
• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts. 

Required Experience and/or qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. 
• More education or experience may be preferred. 
• Special licenses or certification may be required. 
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills. 
• Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes. 
• Ethical behavior. 
• Attention to detail.
