YVITS has extensive experience in community networking with a number of community organizations and violence interrupter groups. We are proud to partner with these local organizations to provide the best possible support to our participants and their families. From food banks to healthcare providers, our partners help us extend our reach and impact in the community.
Our Staff
Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve. From case managers to outreach workers/coaches, we work together to provide comprehensive support to our participants. We employ former gang members and other community members to act as violence interrupters and mediate conflicts that could lead to gun violence in the city's most troubled neighborhoods.
